Here's a link to the MD Juan frame up for sale on eBay. This listed by one of the MD Juan USA importers.

Interested in comments and experience with this item.

I'm just thinking how far $1,500 would go on a decent stock frame.....

It too bad you're in NY. We have 2A frames on Craigslist regularly. Usually in the $100-200 range, with axles.

I use Searchtempest.com for Craigslist searches. I didn't come up with any listings for frames in your area, but I found a hit in Dry Ridge, KY for what could be a parts 2A. Lists at $1500, but "best cash offer gets it"

https://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/d/1948-willys-jeep/6456796470.html

I get three more hits on parts jeeps in the 'Mid Atlantic' region at $1500, $1000, and $800 using the following link:
https://baltimore.craigslist.org

Depending on the condition of your jeep, I'd consider picking up a parts jeep with as many of the parts you need as possible. The upside of used or NOS parts is that they will fit.

To paraphrase the slogan of a popular TV show:
The parts are out there

It is too bad you're in NY. Any plans to come south for the winter? I have a parts CJ2a I bought recently. Frame is in decent shape.

I'm near Tampa, FL.
