Pretty cool. Loved the picture with Mom on the hood.  When you were discussing tail light locations, bottom holes on drivers side are  for the tail light. Hole above is covered by a flat plate. Carryover from military days. Tail light holes for passenger side were on the metal removed and replaced. Putting a lot of hard work into your jeep. Looking good.

A copy of the Willys Service Manual might help?
