I have never heard of this before but I was checking out the website of a guy near by that does dust less blasting. It's called vapor honing and uses a liquid and abrasive of some sort, they claim it won't harm rubber or plastic parts but you can see the results on the carburetor. Maybe worth looking into, he says $35.00 for a small carb.

"Vapor honing" is a misleading name.  Why don't they just call it "liquid blasting" or something that will indicate what is actually happening? 
There's a reason it's called Ol' Unreliable

I thought the same thing , I had to look it up. It is called different things by different companies.
