I run tubes and 7 psi pretty much all the time in our 6.5x16 Super Traxion's and they do quite well. If you want a tire that performs well, buy a modern tire, but the Traxion's work better than I thought they would in most conditions I've encountered.

Currently running Armstrong miracle extra traction and I love them, I have had them on my M37 and International 1210. Sadly they don't make them anymore and my fronts are getting a little sketchy so next best thing is going to be the super traxions they seem very similar but maybe not as good on ice or snow, not that my old lady will ever see either up here in the road salt capital of the world. I do love the look of NDT's (for historical purposes) however I will never ever put them on a vehicle after several near death experiences in my M37.

When you use that link it tacks "/%20" to the end. Delete that and it works.
Or try this:

Great stuff guys thanks. I think I'm going to keep my NDTs but also get a set of Super Trax and mount those up for daily driving. Appreciate all the feedback on yet another tire thread!

OK well after careful deliberation, I think I'll just mount up the NDTs and forge ahead! Thanks for all the input |
