After a lot of resizing to gain additional space (exceeded my web space limit) I'm now ready to say the Pictures are up on the web.

http://www.midwestwillysreunion.org/

And let it be known that our very own Gary Arf took the 2006 Spring Banner picture on the page with my camera.

Nice work Gary!

If anyone got images from the parade forward them to me through the email link on the webpage and I'll try and get them on there as well!

Thanks Cat, I was so preoccupied with getting a picture of everyones Willys that I missed taking one of my own.

You can see the passenger side corner in Art Gloss's 45 CJ2A Fire Jeep picture, but Gary did capture it in the overall shot I used for the homepage banner.

How many jeeps were there for sale?  So far I count only two.

The pictures are outstanding to see.

csandt051196,

I'd say at least 4-5 were for sale if not more.

A Couple 2As counting Rocnroll's and maybe a third, Commando or 2 , a Jeespter and a Pickup with topper, not counting a rolling chassis and drivetrain. Possibly more...

Yeah, I guess I should have worked a little harder trying to sell mine....so I could have found a new home for jpg73.  Bryson, if you're thinking about buying it for that cute little short tub, it had a pretty good windshield frame, the fenders were fixable with some work, and the tub was built by just cutting the tub in half and welding a wall across the back. No rounded corners, no finishing on the welds. I don't think I looked close enough at the hood to give you an idea on it's shape. The frame was pretty ROUGH.

My Dad and I had a great time at the reunion.   It is always fun meeting folks that share a common interest and bond, sharing a few stories, and learning from others.

I hope to make if to Jeff City, as well, this year.   If not, I'm sure my Dad and I will plan to make next year's Auburn Hills, MI location.

Randy

I'm so envious - the only time that I get to see more than one Jeep in a row is when I am at a military show, or in the military lineup at a show. I find there is only so much olive drab a girl can take!
Great pictures, especially those beautiful firetrucks (where's Doug?) ....................... one year ............................. might see them all!

I called the guy up he 5-22 tell's me the $450.00 price says that it's mine. I mail the check he call's back 5-24 not sure maybe wants more? Call back 5-25 says wants $750.00 now.  Boy I sure wonder what happened to a man's word? To beat all I didn't price it. I guess I'll take my money and cut up one of the parts Jeep's that I have now.

Good for you.....he doesn't have $750 worth there. In my opinion, I walked around it and I wouldn't have given the $450. You'd be money ahead doing it yourself, all you'll be out will be time, plus you will be having a learning experience.......I always liked the old saying 'experience is what you get when you don't get what you want'.

Been pretty preoccupied lately...have too many irons in the fire...but I didn't miss that^^^...LOL
