I did do a version with the full flanged radiused corners and they turned out ok...
but I didn't want to make the forms, I didn't think they were necessary, and it would be completely hidden by the fabric anyways so I skipped them.

Using my 1" cold rolled square stock again, I set up and made the bends.

And here it is all bent up.

It was about this time that I realized that maybe those radiused flanges were there to help keep the corners from cutting through the fabric, so I figured I'd better keep them in.... So I made another one with the radiused flanges and I'm much happier now.  I'll do the other 5 that I need the same way.
And here it is primed, painted and patinated.

I looked online for different images of these pans and I couldn't find any with the 3 large holes that I have on mine.  There are also some sheet metal screw clips in mine that I don't know if they're correct or not, but I figured I'd leave them in since I'm pretty sure they are original.  I know that my 46 has some early and some late features so maybe these seat pans are some leftovers.

Also... I do like shiny painted hardware, on shiny painted vehicles, but I think on rusty, crusty vehicles, the bolts need to match so I'm still continuing with my "bolt reconditioning project" by grinding off the markings and using a modelers paintbrush to dab on some gun blue.  They look even better when they're fully dry.

Even the backs of the bolts.

Inspired by Otto's tailgate. I decided to put the 4 Wheel Drive logo on my tailgate.  I distressed mine a bit more than he did though...

I also added some "vintage" lettering to my sides:

I know this is an old thread but I was just looking something up from it and realized I never posted any completed pics of this project.  I went with the patina look so it honestly doesn't look much different that it did when I brought it home, but the body is solid, and the engine compartment looks nice.  I also haven't gotten glass for it yet, but I have a good friend that manages a glass company and is going to install glass for two of my jeeps this summer so I'll wait for him.

Anyways, here are some completed pics.

I like the tires on your jeep! Did you mention size and source for these?

They are General Super All Grip 7.00-15LT. One of my GPW’s came with 4 of them on it already, I found the fifth one down at my gun range holding down tarps.  I don’t think they make them anymore.
