Does anyone make a gasket for a koieng pto shifter? It’s on a stock 1947 Cj2a. I used permatex on it and it leaks a lot.
Thanks in advance

Which gasket? The pto (rear cover on TC) gasket is readily available. A1509 is #. Gasket PTO Cover D-18 And Output Shaft Housing Gasket D-20

You can remove the 4 screws and remove the top cover, trace this onto a piece of gasket material to make a replacement. There is also a piece of felt between the gasket and cover. This prevents seepage out and dirt from entering.
Here is an example of this for a twin stick PTO |

Sorry for the vague question, the large gasket between the two halves of the housing pieces.

Herm lists the mating gasket in his rebuild kits so I would try contacting him: http://hermtheoverdriveguy.com/power-take-off

I just took a Model 51 apart last night and the felt portion was only in the bumped cavity and not the entire length of the mating surface. There was a piece of flat metal sandwiching it to the top cover and no signs of a gasket.
I also removed the front seal and all bearings except the one in the rear cover (its being a bear to remove).
