I'm curious, is there any documentation indicating what, if any, markings were on the Pur0Lator oil filter canister? I see the reproductions for the Fram units but I have not seen anything on the Willys sites for the Pur0Lator.
I came across these ones out of France, but I have no idea if they are correct. I like the idea even thought they may not be original. Micah

Wish I'd known someone made these a few months ago. In my ignorance, I threw some Fram decals on my freshly painted Purolator filter canister. Nice find. I would think they're correct.

I found this:
Scroll down to about half way and find "Howard's" post. Then follow to the end (more discussion and images).

Rus,
Thanks for the link. I did not see that when I searched. The discussion I see is for the two band Pur0Lator from the military and early CJ2As. Mine is the single band one used in the later CJ2As. I don't think it would use the same decal since it is specifying a "junior element" which is not what was used on the single band units. I think he is also selling one that appears to be another version than the one RFJP is selling. The post has pictures of both a square version and a version with clipped corners. Right or not, I think I will order one of the oblong ones. Micah
