These are the best closeup pics of Moab jeepin' that I've ever seen. That includes years-past coverage in Four Wheeler, JP Magazine, etc., etc. Really outstanding! Congrats to Jpet, Stan and the other Quaaazies and thanks for sharing.

It was getting late,  but I decided to watch some of one of the videos,  I picked 6 flatfenders from 40's take on Cliffhanger. . .   when I saw the length,  I knew I could only watch a fraction of it.

It is now almost 1:00am,  and I just finished watching the whole thing.   I could not stop.   What a great video!!    Looking forward to the others.

Superb pics, jpet! Further evidence of just how "right" the Bantam and Willys engineers got the original design over 70 years ago. Few mechanical devices still in regular use, other than a lever-action Winchester, still perform as well as a flatfender Jeep.

There has to be more traction on Moab's type of rock compared to the limestone of the Black Hills. You never would climb the rock here that steep without a winch. You guys have really put it to it this time. Amazing pictures. I think moab is your favorite sandbox to play Jeep in. Wink  Oilly

Qwaaazy 8s is not a number, it's a state of mind.

Sorry for the blackout. We have been pretty busy. Here is a link to our run of the Pickle and Wipeout Hill:

After we did Wipeout Hill, we did a run of the Schafer Switchbacks:

These switchbacks are amazing and every bit as beautiful as the switchbacks in black bear but it is two lane.

Yesterday we did Porcupine Rim Trail. I didn’t take any pics but Rock Cred shot some video:

.... after the trail, we discovered that Stan broke a rear axle.

believe it or not, Jeremy, a local SXS rental company had an extra D41 axle! .... but what about a hub puller!

so, we had to make one :

.... then, finished out the day with some music:

We will finish this up today and hopefully have time to hit a trail. Thx 4 reading.

When I was running two piece axles I carried one of these pullers....

Of course you also need a sledge hammer and a jack too. Never got to try it, but it should work.
