I'm looking for the springs for the rear seat bottom. My top springs are solid, but the bottoms are rusted to just about the point of failure. I think the bottom springs are the same for the early and late style 2A seat.
Also, if anyone is interested in using the bottoms for a template to repop the springs, please let me know. |

If M38 springs fit a CJ2a rear seat, I have one set NOS. S-shaped, and in good condition.

OK, the OS springs I have are S-shaped, 31.25" long x 12.5" wide x 1.75" thick. Bare springs, but brand new. Will need padding and upholstery. PM your e-mail, and I will send you a photo. I bought them on e-Bay a couple months ago; I'll look up what I paid. John

Art, What are the measurements on the one with just the padding and springs? I've got new upholstery, but the horsehair and padding would be nice to have. Do you have the (3) metal pieces that pull the cover tight?

Spring bottom is 31 1/2 x 12 x 2 not counting the padding. Black paint still very shiny and minimal surface rust. Not sure what you are referring to on the 3 metal pieces this seat and my original 48 are hand stretched tight over the tube frame of the seat and fastened with screws and fish eye washers. |
