Can anyone out there tell me the routine of the wiring from the regulator on the inner fender to the amp gauge.
Just trying to follow the factory layout.
Thank you,
John

There’s a wiring diagram on page 123, section “I” of your Service Manual. You do have a Service Manual, don’t you?

From the “BAT” terminal of the regulator to the amp gauge. Post nearest the speedometer, I believe.

Yes I have the factory service manual. But I want to know the exact routing from the regulator (TO) the amp gauge.
Cheers,
John

The wire routes behind the air cleaner (where it's held to the firewall with 1/4" clip, screw, lock washer, and nut), then it passes through the firewall through the same hole as the distributor wiring (just to the right of the parking brake cable, if you're looking at it from the front of the vehicle).

John,
Here's a post showing some routing.  Ironically, I didn't see an image of the specific reference from Hamhog that's near the breather (with the clip).  This is a long thread but there may be more images floating around that show what you're asking.
