I have some leaf springs to remove but I usually have problems with the bolts being frozen into the rubber bushings.  What are some tricks to help persuade them to come out?

Your talking rubber bushed factory “Silent Blok” ?
The Silent Blok’s have both an internal and an external metal sleeve with rubber sandwiched in between.
The inner sleeve rusts onto the grade 8 shackle bolts.
Penetrating oil, and a punch are your only options for separating the bolts from the bushings.

If your into fire and nasty black smoke you could heat with oxy-acetylene.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.  Hoping someone has any better ideas.

i have seen where a drill bit about 3/16" is twisted between the sleeve and the bushing with a drill motor this causes the bit to walk around the joint breaking it free.
