just thought I post this easy way to remove the timing gear with a home made puller.  I used 2    3/8" bolts with 2    1/2 washers welded onto the bolt head.  Then grinded the washers so only 1 side was left.  The washer edge fit perfectly under the center of the gear without tearing the fiber.  Gear pulled off easy!!

Thats pretty much what I ended up doing when I had to pull mine.
What did you have to pull it for?  Mine had to come off to change front engine plate.

Mine came off easy.  Didn't even need a puller.  Just took the top half off, then the bottom half.  Big smile
