I have a 1947 Cj2A that I am rebuilding and I am having trouble getting to past quarter/half throttle it starts right up within one revolution of the motor idles beautifully but as I increase the throttle it starts to stutter and will not increase rpms. I have installed new tank, lines, pump, carb, coil, plugs, points and condenser and set the points. any help would be greatly appreciated

With the engine off, look down the throat of the carb as you move the throttle. You should see a stream of gas if the accelerator pump in the carb is working properly.
If it is not, you will have a lean condition when trying to accelerate until the venturi effect of the carb catches fuel supply up with the incoming air.
Also the adjustment of the pump and metering rod are interdependent, and if not correct will cause hesitation, poor performance etc.

Check to make sure you have the correct rotor for your distributor.  Also might be a long shot but if you or someone else rebuilt the carburetor the metering rod is very easy to bend when installing, previous owner did this to mine and it ran exactly as you are describing.

Forgot to mention you should really do a compression test as you might be wasting your money with parts.

Was the distributor rebuilt? I've seen other members post about having similar issues caused by weak distributor springs.
