You must have missed my post where I said the title had the engine serial number on it, not the body.  I’ve also sent in the form to make the correction on the title and am waiting for it to come back.

Update:
My new title came in the mail yesterday with the new correct serial number that’s on the plates, not the one that was on the engine block like the one I had first. No questions asked, and surprisingly no fees.
Yay!  Now I can order new serial number plates!

I sent in the correction form March 15th so it hasn’t even been 30 days yet.

That is good news. It is always surprising to me when the bureaucracy actually works.

That is good news. Thanks for keeping us updated, it’s always nice to see a conclusion to a problem.

Well, I believe I'd probably do a little research as to what 'correct' is then I might try to use the correct terminology in asking my question but that's just the way I might do it.

Would this question have anything to do with any kind of future business endeavor?

If so, again I wold suggest correctness and font research.

Might've missed it, but don't recall seeing engraved serial number plates.

Most got stamped that I recall seeing, especially military.

Don't forget about embossed.

If you're not after originality, I suppose anything that makes your DMV happy would work.

Good luck!
