If it will fit in a 12-12-6” box and under 25lbs it’s not bad around $90 if it has not gone up.

I build banjos, and a couple of years ago I shipped one to New Zealand. FedEx and UPS prices were ridiculous, but I got a very good price on shipping through USPS. These banjos weigh about 18 lbs with a case, and are a pretty big package to ship. I don't remember the exact cost but I do remember that FedEx wanted about $1500 to ship it, and USPS was around $300. So, it pays to check around, and USPS has now become my primary choice for shipping.

If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!
