Anyone removed the top bow side pockets on the 2A? They appear to be spot welded, and would like to remove mine for a cleaner look. Anyone know of a site that details this?

Thanks

If you use some sandpaper on the flange against the body you should be able to see the spot welds.

There is a special drill bit designed for cutting through spot welds, or they can be drilled through with a regular drill bit if you don't mind filling the holes.

The pockets make a handy place to carry an axe, so I leave them on my Jeeps.

If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!
