Are any of you Solex haters, who have not thrown it in the trash yet, or a Solex fan, who has an extra carb, able to be of assistance to me? Today, I noticed that the bracket retaining the slow running/idle screw was broken. I was wondering why my idle speed was erratic. The tab holding the screw broke off. I have some epoxy on it now. I'm hoping it is going to be a good enough repair to get her back on the road, but I don't want to rely on it.
Part number 43 on the diagram. Thanks, Micah |
