Been digging through my old files and cleaning house. I found this document that does show the tire was an option.

Isn't that why early ads show a rim bolted to the side but no rubber installed?

Was the gas cap an option too?? Or was this a special pressure cap?

Nice to see. Thanks. Hard to believe how much inflation. Can't imagine what 70 + years from now will be like. I really feel bad for our grandkids. ... hope all our Flatties get passed on to them. I've got 5 grandkids and hope to leave each one an old Jeep!!

Now there is an idea I can use to keep my wife off my back about buying more Jeeps.

I have 14 grandkids, and 2 great-grandsons. I need a dozen more Jeeps at least.
If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!
