Starting work on my SPEN reconfiguration back to civilian livery. Posting pics I took of the taillight mount before I removed it for its conversion to military mode for my Bankhead Convoy Trip in 2015.
In a number pics of trailers on the forum on several trailers I've noted a similar mount configuration. I'm going to fabricate and install the same mount for my taillight. Just curious if anyone has any official photos of the taillight mount? [/IMG] |

Hi Mark,
I have a SPEN trailer, but the tail light mount is different. See some photos

I don't believe I've ever seen a completely unmolested SPEN to even lend a suggestion.
A lot of pictures do not show a tail lamp or an obvious added one with no real pattern of duplication. I almost wonder if it was a dealer or owner added item.

Hi,
I saw one trailer (internet) with the same square frame for the tail light as mine. I guess trailer belongs to Randall Stewart. As you can see the frame is exactly as I have in mine. As you say, I donĀ“t know if this was added for some dealer or was factory. Regards. Edited by CHARLIE JEEP - 20 Jan. 2019 at 2:48pm |

CJ, those are great pics ... Have changed my mind, Going to replicate that square mount and install the same on my SPEN ... the mount makes great sense regards protecting the taillight and providing a solid mounting.

Not only does it make sense, it is the factory correct SPEN design according to the original SPEN brochure I happen to have. Here you go guys, I hope this is helpful. Edited by 3-48s - 02 Feb. 2019 at 9:00pm |
