I built this jeep for a friend about 5 years ago, time for a repower. Scored a well built 4.3 for it. Got a lot done toady

You did make some nice progress for a day’s work!  It looks like the 4.3L landed in a good spot as far as firewall clearance goes.  Did you have to move the tranny and transfer case?

Nice work! How much clearance between the crank pulley and the front axle housing?

Yeah, it had to come forward an inch or so, mostly so it could come up for clearance between the crank pully and that axle.

I'll have to go measure it,  not as much as the 225, but it should be ok, its not particularly "flexy" lol

That Jeep must be lifted pretty good then. I had to get a smaller pulley for mine.

2.5 springs, but has a 1 ish body lift so the engine is a bit higher than most

chopped up some plate steel and some other crap, then burned it back together, and then, bazinga! Motor mounts!

Who made the windshield frame out of an arctic top w/s frame?  Also, did you change the bell housing?
