I need a tailgate for my newly purchased T3C.

I’d like to try making my own, does anyone have high quality photos and/or dimensions?

I think I have a pretty good idea of how it was made but am a bit fuzzy on the sizes of the bracing on all four edges and how the hooks interface with the tub.

Thanks in advance.

A replacement repop is not too expensive:

I'm deployed right now or I could give you some dimensions

There are some tailgate photos in my build thread that might be helpful:

Can't help with dimensions- the trailer is packed away for the winter.

Initially, I was going to suggest using the available end panels offered for trailer repair, but Art's post shows that's now unnecessary.  That seems very reasonable - even if it needed tweaking during install.

For fabricating, you'll still have to work out the hinges , chains etc.

Searching here and Art's T-3C Page, you can narrow what style chain is best for your trailer.

Looking forward to seeing your trailer!
