Hi All,

I was working in Northern Indiana this week and it turns out that my customer had a "jeep trailer" that he got from his grandpa.  He wasn't sure what it was so he shared some pictures with me:

Even though the hitch has been modified, it is fascinating to see that it still has it's combat wheels, and the data tags with rivets.

Is there anyone keeping a database on these?

Nice.
Amazing what's still out there hiding in barns.
Thanks for the post, jpet.

Yes it is. It is a T-6 1/4 ton Navy contract.

.... You are likely thinking of the 1/2 ton airborne trailers like Russ has.

..... oh I see you are talking about the "dump" part. Idk about that. He told me it dumps.   I never saw the actual trailer. Doesn't look like it does by the pics.

Nice trailer and would make a great one for the military jeep guys that wanted a original trailer with a gate. It looks like Navy used 1/4 ton Converto like the pic you posted and Army used 1/2 ton Converto that  was a dump and looks different and with no fenders.
