You may have seen my discussion about what to do with my T90:

This trans had water in it, thus a number of rusty parts. I plan to order a Novak master rebuild kit, but I need a few other parts. I know they can be had new, but I'm trying to keep costs down. So I'd like to see if anyone has these in good servicable condition.

Reverse idler gear and pin
1st/reverse slider gear
Mainshaft
18 tooth input shaft for 4 cyl (7" stick out length)
Front input bearing retainer

Like I said, I'm looking for affordable, good servicable parts. Not worn out, chipped or beat up parts (I'm well stocked with those!)

I appreciate any help. Thanks,
Steve

Steve,

I have not read your thread yet but will that shortly
I just aquired a 1960 T90 and I have no use for it.
Have not looked inside it as of yet.
Will sell  dirt cheap if your interested in the whole thing or can pull out any good parts you may need.
I fully agree you are better of with original parts in servicable condition than to buy new mix and match pieces.
Currently building my final F-134 powered 3B .

Hey Oldtime - is it a short shaft, 4 cyl version? If the parts inside are in good shape, I would definitely be interested. Thanks Steve

BTW, I updated the link in the original post, so it should work now.

Hey all I'm also looking for T90 parts. I have a 55' Jeep Willy's with a v6 conversion. I pulled the transmission this past weekend and noticed the input shaft great is completely rusted off. If anyone has a T90A-1 to sell with an 11.5" input shaft is be interested in buying it. I'm trying to make this a budget rebuild of my dad's old Jeep that he used to take us on rides in. He's no longer with us and think it'd be a great way to remember him. Any help would be appreciated. Really what I need is the gear cluster and the input shaft.
Thanks,
BILL

Let me know where you are. I gutted A case for a guy so the guts went in a box. I may still have them if a couple people didn't sneak them out the door. I know one guy was looking intently at a shift tower. I think he put it back down.

They didn't sneak out the door - you were paid your asking price for them. They are now in another case, waiting to go into my jeep. This was evidently a very nice transmission, I can't understand why anyone would disassemble a good transmission to give the case away. Confused   BW

   I have a question here:
Does the V-6 conversion utilize the longer T-90 shaft that was used in the wagons and pickups with the Hurricane-6 flathead ?

And could someone attach a good Link which shows dimensions of these shafts both the short and long versions ?

I was curious too, how Oldtmr is doing with his T-98 Conversion ?

Here in California, I see T-90 transmission on Craigslist from $250 on up to around $600.
And like mentioned earlier, many 2A t-90's sat out in the weather with rain water running down the shifter staff and into the transmissions. a Curse !

Sorry guys, my T90 project took a back burner to some other things.  FYI, here is a photo of what I have.  This came out of a Dauntless V6 jeep and it has the longer input shaft.  Since my jeep has the L134, I'll need to replace it with a shorter version.

    I bought a T-90 out of a pickup for my L134 '46 a few months back.

It has the long shaft and appears to be in nice condition. I would like to sell it for what I can purchase a good used short input shaft.   not Omix.

Is there a gear tooth count difference on the inputs ?   it is a t-90A.

Anyone have a nice short input shaft I could purchase ?

send me an email so I see it.   thanks

   I am in Redding, California

    Len
