How much of a gap is there supposed to be between the spacer and the bearing retainer on the T90 main shaft? Seems like a big gap but I have no basis for comparison. (It's not centered in the picture but it's still a significant gap.)

There should be no contact between the two. The shaft is centered in the bearing, and the bearing is centered in the retainer. Therefore everything is concentric and the space around the spacer will be even, no contact. How much space is not important, as long as there is no contact.
