Hello Everyone,

Several years ago, I met a nice guy named Daryll Deppe online. He was a Microsoft executive and he was restoring an old WW2 Military Jeep.

He got so into it that he studied all the body variants of all the different Ford and Willys WW2 Jeeps. He found several different types, he put it in a chart and posted it on a forum for WW2 Jeepers (g503.com).

The guys then chimed in and gave their opinions and knowledge until the whole chart was complete. It then became known as the Deppe WW2 Jeep Chart.

here it is:

I was wondering if we can make the same chart for the Civilian Jeep at least even just for the flat fender jeeps.

I will try to make a chart to start it of. But I hope our CJ2a community helps out to complete it :)

I'm sure many enthusiasts will find it useful.

Thanks,
Rommel

Sounds like a good idea from a curiosity point as well as sometime  I need to know when a change happened.   Looks like an easy to read chart.

Also a lot of work so someone will have to have passion and patience to do this.  I will chip in with what little I know.   We have a lot of info here that is not organized but that is the fun of asking the same quesiton for the 10th time.
Two jeeps on the road, one is close and the rest are dreams.
