Are you using an original fuel tank? Let us know how you do this.

Thanks!

I think most FI units have a fuel return line to deal with also....but the in tank pump may deal with that.

My plan is to use the stock tank, don't worry it's not the original just a reproduction, with an in tank pump from Tanks Inc. it will have a baffle, pump, supply line and return line and also a vent tube. I plan on welding a threaded bung to my filler neck so I can use a sealed gas cap so I have no more sloshing fuel spilling from the gas cap. I will post some pics when I get it all installed.

Just curious, Are you planning to get rid of the WO carb you have on the jeep now? If so I may be interested in it. I live in Montrose and have been up on Imogene many times with my stock 2a. It runs good and has no signs of running rich up there. It has almost as much power as it does here at home. Anyway, I am looking for spare parts to keep her running for a long time.  Thanks Mike

I wish my carb ran like yours! I run a little rich in Durango, and it seems like just over 9500 I start having problems. Maybe I just have a lemon. It kind of depends on how this project turns out, and I am a parts borderas as well, but if I decide to let it go, I will let you know.

If I can be of any help, let me know. By the way, the thing that helped my 2a the most was setting the timing with a vacuum gauge. The end result believe it or not is I think the timing ended up at about 12 advance. No problem with kickback on starting, she runs good and the plugs are showing no sign of preignition either. Hope this will help.   Mike

My adapter turned out great! It lifts the TBI unit up and over away from the exhaust and gives plenty of room for my throttle clearance. I will post some installed pics next

Great job so far, keep it going. I think a lot of us here are real interested to see this done and then the end results. Keep us posted.
