Thanks Stan,

I should have been more specific.  I am not wild about NDTs.  I scored a narrow set of 16 in jeep rims and looking fot tires to fit to be eligible for the 62 in trails at BHR

The only non military 7.00 that I find is this cheap Samson tire from China.

I certainly shy away from this cheap 12 ply tire.

One might find a few hi-way treads  in that size or else its military.tread

I'm assuming you have 4-1/2" wide wheels ??

Your other options for 4-1/2 wheels would be 6.50 x 16 tires or 215 / 85R / 16

If you can go a little larger then STA makes a nice 8 ply 7.50 x 16 See here:

I get these locally for less than $150

If your wheel width  can handle it the 235 85 R 16 might be best.
