i am looking for some concensus here, regarding the "Chrysler approved" "JEEP" stamped tool boxes with lids....

has anyone actually installed one of these? and if so, do the ribs with the lid and body align with the bed floor like original?

if you have installed one, could you please share some pics?

thx, low

I do know that the repro toolbox lids that are supposed to be for the 2A are actually a 3A and won't fit the stock box without cutting down the lip (like Bill said). So with that in mind, I'm thinking the repro boxes would be 3A. That doesn't really answer your question about the ribs lining up. Hopefully someone has done this and will chime in.

Any updates on this thread? Based on its age, I wondering if during the last 10 years someone has stepped up and started making a 2A tool box that's worth it?
