Im trying to repair some rust and trail damage. After grinding off the paint and old bondo, I think the easiest thing to do may be replace the lower 4” or so on the tub. Maybe I’m doing it wrong but all the repair panels I’m finding are flat, even the ones for MBs. Does anybody make a panel shaped for the tool indents?

Classic will be a no go. But Ron Fitzpatrick has these in stock. Midwest Military has this https://store.midwestmilitary.com/product-p/mwm217.htm

I forgot to check Ron Fitzpatrick. That’s what I needed. I looked at classic and walks and Midwest military, and kaiser willys, they all had either the small panel with no indents or a whole side.
After thinking that I couldn’t get a small panel with indents and scratching my head a while, I used a copper backing piece for a heat sink and started welding the holes up, with encouraging results so far. Basically what I had was a line of small holes, just above where the floor attaches, I guess mud and junk got caught there over the years. My biggest hole was just big enough to stick my finger in. Is there any reason this won’t work?

Should work, or if the swiss cheese is extensive, cut out the section and weld in new metal.

If you need this, tell me where to cut and it’s yours for the cost to ship it.

If he decides he doesn’t need it, I would be interested in it.
