IMO, any support the bow would give is insignificant. I would not recommend pulling on the windshield to help you I to your jeep unless you don't mind a warped windshield.

My opinion only. Nothing more.

I try to keep people from grabbing onto the top of the windshield frame to help pull themselves in. That's why I went to all the trouble of adding the home-made steps, but they still want a handle up high and there is no way - so I tell them I'll lift em. The old man just says "go away" band young girls don't even ask anyway…...Censored
