Managed to put the wiring diagram of the aftermarket (Walcks)  turn signal kit with a flasher in the file
important, needed later.

Now I cannot find it. Has anyone a wiring diagram for this type of turn signal?

Is your flasher inside the switch or a separate part?
I saw no "ground" on those diagrams. Did you try jumping a ground wire to the metal case? I needed to scrape the paint off of my column under the clamp to give the flasher unit and indicator lamps a ground.
Just a guess.

Flasher is separate and outside the
Neither did I see a ground on the wiring diagrams, the case is in plastic so the ground would need be taken somewhere else.

Hi Porsskar,
I have the Walcks turn signal diagram. I will post it today or tomorrow. I just got a new printer scanner and have to figure out the scanner to file process.

What part of Finland are you from. My moms side is Finn so I am 50%. Finnish side names are Saali, Kuula and Ylitalo.

Take care and I will get the diagram as soon as possible.

Not sure where I got this but it talks about having a good ground by scraping steering column. Hope it helps.

I had a similar difficulty when I wired mine, the wires on the switch didn't match any of the diagrams that I found online. I ran across this site that I found helpful in figuring out which wire went where.

What happens if I  am not using the red H hot wire to brake switch at all as I built separate lamps/bulbs in all 4 corners of the Jeep? Is not there a hot wire already coming from the positive power source as mentioned in Joe's scheme above?

Dano, thank you so much for the Walcks diagram just received in the mail!

Your switch is designed to use the brake light feed. It allows brake lights when the switch is centered, and when turned one way or the other the switch interrupts that side brake filament and flashes it. So, hook it up that way for a trial. You will apparently end up with multiple brake/flasher filaments if you are using redundant lamps.

Today I used the wiring diagram sent in mail by Dan, everything works just fine.
Good to remember you need to ground the body even tough the commercial diagram does tell you anything about it.
