Has anybody ever seen a trailer like this? I saw it at an estate sale today and was wondering what it is. The tailgate reminds me of a Spen but the sides do not. I did not see any tags or markings anywhere. Any ideas of a manufacturer?

No....I didint get it because I have no idea what it is and what it's worth. Im also trying to save money to put into my other projects! It had no rust through anywhere exept for the fenders. The rest of the body and frame were in great shape.

Hi,

I believe it's a post-war Converto. I just came across one on Facebook Market Place and am starting to get to know these units, so don't take my observation as 100 percent correct. Also, this post was some years ago, but I figured I'd ask: Is this still around? It's a lot more complete than the one I'm currently looking at.

Thanks,

John

It does resemble a Converto quite a quite a bit. Half way down the page is an example here:
