vapor leak?

   Friends,
My jeep is making a whistling noise. I thought it might be the fan belt, and so I tightened it. That did not have any effect. I've been told that it may be a vapor leak. What would I check for this? What hoses might cause this?

	you might check the vacuum line that leads or used to lead to the windshield wiper. anything in the mechanical movements i.e. fan belt or alternator etc would probably be more of a squeaking.
