Agreed!  The space makes the 130 AND the 135 look tiny!  A great place to host a display!

7 acres of big arse hangar, tall enough for all of the wide bodies to come on in for repairs, I work for a major airline as an aircraft mechanic to keep your butt flying in a safe airworthy aircraft and my family too.

Drove out to work to move the remaining goodies back home and all the prop jobs are leaving around noon today.  Hangar is packed with company airliners again- back to the salt mines! Grab a wrench!!

The O-1 Birddog brought back memories for me. As an Army photographer I flew in both the Army and Air Force versions out of Bien Hoa Air Base, RVN in 1967-68.

M821 motar round NATO is what those brown metal boxes are for. The Brits use metal boxes instead of the wooden boxes the US uses.
I was told the "C" Number is what round that box was used for. Post up or send me a PM with a pic of your box if you want and I'll see what my buddy can find out.

SE Kansas 46 CJ-2A   thank you for your service!!!  I grew up on Air Force Bases in Calif and TX. As a kid we used to see the SR-71 Blackbird flying around Beale AFB and were always excited to see it.  I  guess thats why I work in aviation for a living
