    Posted: 18 Mar. 2021 at 1:53pm
Here is an adaptor I make to adapt a Weber DGV 32/36 to a L134 CJ2A/3A manifold. Allows the use of the stock linkage and clears the hood. I run this setup on my 46 and really like it. $150 shipped comes with gasket and hardware.

I also make a steering column upper bushing made out of oilite bronze that replaces the flimsy bearing

I currently have one left of each

You can email me at info@vintagejeeper.com or through the 2A forumSmile

 style: $75 shipped

In my experience with this setup and a couple on FB that have swapped this over , the throttle response if much better and pulls better as well. Hickey used to run a two Carter setup back in the day on a L head. I run this setup on my 46 with 32"s and its night an day from my 48 with the stock Carb. The Weber is much more tunable as well. Both carb are great carbs but with the Carter has a 1" bore and with the Weber your primary is 1.2" and the secondary at WOT is 1.4".

I am setting up a 32/36 for the 153 in my 2a. You can find them used online, (I paid $40),but be wary of something that has been sitting outdoors for years. They are not bad to rebuild until the point that the butterflies become stiff, or stuck. IMO one with stuck butterflies is not worth the effort. Don’t sweat the choke designation too much as any of them can be made manual choke with a $20 kit.
