Decided to address the lack of threads in the #1 plug hole. Researched heli coils and then I remembered that I had a good head stored away for emergencies, so I declared an emergency. Swapped heads and got the new one retorqued and re-manifolded and was ready to put the antifreeze back in and remembered the water temp bulb was still out. Learned that there are different threads for some sending units and bushings ???????? Took a break and considered my options (new temp gauge or swap the bushings in the heads. Went for the cheaper option - BIG mistake. Tomorrow I will look for my 1/2"NPT tap !!

I sanded out the top of the Right fender since I missed the window of time allowing it to be top coated without sanding. Now I have the inside of it and all of the Hood and Left Fender to sand.

This is the end of the month report for me.
For the month, I have been working on leaks and little items to make her more drivable. Now the weather is nice, I drive her as much as I can. Usually, this to and from the gym, groceries and trips to Home Depot on the weekend. She never fails to attract attention.

I have an app that tracks my mileage as well as grades my driving. For the month of May:

2017 F-150                     115 Miles
1971 Grabber Maverick      61 Miles (resto-mod)
1963 Jaguar                        0 Miles (Trailer Queen)
1947 CJ2A                       237 Miles

For some reason I get a grade of C+ for acceleration but an A+ for speed in the Jeep.

I have a company car for daily use.

My grandparents bought her new. In 1982 they gave it to me. My first car and daily driver until I completely disassembled her two years ago. She is a bit more fun now after replacing the 250 six cylinder with a fuel injected 347. Some other bits added too.
