Not today but last week I got my dads 47 up and running. ( a simple new battery and a fuel line swap from the pump to the carb) and it ran like a champ. “Little Willy” as he named it along time ago was my first experience with a jeep about 30 years ago. The reason I got it running was to drive it to my dads funeral. He passed suddenly on May 19th at the age of 65. We had so many amazing adventures in that jeep either climbing up a trail to some ridge top or just across town for some ice cream. I then took it up the next day to our family cabin and up to our elk hunting spot to spread his ashes. Even though in recent years he upgraded to a newer Rubicon, Little Willy will live on.
