I just ordered all the parts, mostly, for converting the front axle in my cj, I still need studs. I’m assuming based on all I’ve been reading over and over the 16” wheels I have should clear. If I’m still reading this right I will still need to get longer studs. Does anyone have the part numbers for the longer studs that will work? I’m not planning on using wheel spacers but if I had to it would be Brennan’s 3/8 spacers. I would prefer left and right studs so I’m not left with just one left hand threaded wheel.

Have you searched this site? There is lots of info.
If you go to Google and type in CJ2A then track kick or side kick disc brakes the first few links will be info from the 2A Page. |

Yup, found bunches of things. I use google to search the page all the time. The search feature here doesn’t work at all for me on my iPhone. Some information on spacers, dimples vs no dimples, 15’s, 16’s, etc. i found that 16’s will most likely work, but I should put in longer studs. That’s all I could pin down for sure on no spacers. Metcalf recommends the doorman 610260 I saw on his website, especially if I have to use the 3/8 spacers. Nothing at all if I wanted to retain left hand lug nuts on the front. I liked scratches write up and found it the most helpful for myself and is one of the many that helped sell me on this particular setup, but he used wheel spacers and I’m trying to avoid that.

Thanks, I know I tried a few different studs until I found the ones I wanted to use.

I'm sorry, I missed the part about you wanting to keep left hand threads.....(I guess, because I wouldn't want to really do that)

Your going to have to swap to R/H threads on the studs due to no longer L/H studs that I could find. Here's my post with my Trackick brake install
