I did Fender Bender in a Toyota truck. It was set up nicely, It belonged to a friend that basically fell off of El Capitan while rapelling and I had it out for a memorial trip. It was set up by a guy that was an airline pilot. Cancer got him. I got to the top and I hit nothing. There were a couple of Jeeps that came in from the other side and a driver asked me what kind of locker was in the thing? An ARB and a Powerlock. Another friend still has it.

I was wondering if you had gone back to Moab yet again.  What was it, the 3rd time this year?  I'm trying desperately to control my envy.  Cry  Smile

Perhaps you should move there. We came close to buying a place near there.

Then again a few of us were considering buying a 64 foot Chris Craft on Lake Powell. It had everything but nobody would pull the trigger.

That Stan avidly adheres to NDTs in all of Grandpa's Jeep adventures--particularly on Utah slick rock--is further evidence of how darned good a flat-fender Willys is off road. The engineers who developed skinny, non-directional tires back before WWII never envisioned their continued popularity today. Great videos from Jpet as usual!

Here I am gathering up all the good parts I think I need to give my little flat fender Targhee a fighting chance at tackling the Rubicon and the Moab slick rock, when all I really need to do is just leave it stock and let Stan drive it! Smile

Really did laugh out loud.

Not sure if people can see this or not, but while we were on Rocket Knocker a group of modern rigs came up on us. We let them play through so we could take our time on it.

These guys were part of the Moab Friends For Wheeling Club/Facebook group. This link is for their write up of their trip through the canyon. We got some very nice mention in their write up and some photo bomb inclusion.
