Well, there is a "Thanks" option next to the "Post Options" thingy, but I don't know if it works. I have used it several times but there is no feedback to the user. I would assume that the "thankee" gets some sort of notification, but I don't know because I guess I have never been thanked.
 Let's see if the thingy works...I will "thank" you right after I post this...you tell me if you got thanked...  ...and by the way, thank your for your service.
