I have a L134...head casting 637014 W2 and serial number 2T15141. Can you guys help me identify this engine?

I don't recognize the head casting.  It may be from a pre war Willys 440 or 441 car.

The serial number tells us that the engine was originally in a 2 wheel drive truck.
1- 1946 CJ2A   
2- 1949 CJ3A

Wow! Thanks for the info. I was told the head is either a pre war car or Willys MA. I hope the head is from a MA.

Posting a picture of the head may help with identification.  
If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!

would not a pre war or MA head have a two bolt thermostat housing?

I'm trying to figure out how to post a picture....but it does have the 2 bolt holes for the thermostat housing....not 3 holed

That looks like it, not sure if there is anyway to distinguish prewar civy from MA though... 'course probably no one could prove you wrong if you just picked one, lol.

I think the MA engine was a prewar "civy" engine, so who is to say which it is ?

The head, if it is in good, obviously will work on your engine since it was already there, but the Willy truck engine is later than that head.

If you want, or need a later head there are plenty of them out there.  
If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!

The head is in good shape. Only problem is the 2 bolt thermostat housing.....don't have one. I have other 3 bolt heads. Thanks for the info guys

Might be hard to find a housing specific to the L134, but there may be other two bolt housings that would work. I believe the six cylinder flathead used in the Trucks and Wagons was two hole, and that might be easier to find. 
If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!
