Is that pocket on the back original?  I've never seen one like that before, but my experience is limited.

I have read that military jeeps have a pocket for map storage.  I've never seen one.

I know that the seat part was made for a while so an army blanket could be stuffed in for more padding, but that's the horizontal part.
