I want to thank JW with the help of Kris and Shane for putting this event on again this year. I thought it turned out great. I would also like to thank Jeff for posting the videos from the event so we can relive the trail experiences.
As I have been reflecting on the event the last few days what has stood out to me more than the experiences out driving the trails are the time spent meeting new friends and reconnecting with old ones. I think we are truly blessed to be surrounded by the quality of people that are in this hobby. -Alan |

I just want to say thank you to JW, Shane, and all the others that were responsible for organizing this weekend jeep excursion. I had a blast! I was most pleased to get to meet new friends that I have communicated with here on the 2a page, and even some I didn't know at all. What a great bunch of folks that gather around these old jeeps! Here's my first video. I'll be working on more.

I would like to thank everyone that came for making this a great weekend. The final count was 12 Jeeps & 26 people having fun. We had Jeeps from 5 different states. I would encourage everyone that hasn't been to one of the Fall or Spring Willys Reunions to go. The idea for the Willys Rush started at the banquet dinner between 2 guys that had never met. Get out & meet people that share the same passion for old Jeeps that you do. You won't find a nicer group of people. Great times, great videos, great food & great people.

This video shows Bridog’s amazing climb up Hixon Hollow. This is a serious obstacle. Also in this video is a very steep, loose dirt and rock hill climb. Thanks to Rick and Molly for some of the footage.

The steep loose hill climb looks almost flat in video, except for BriDog's daughter very carefully getting out of Jeep . . and the loose rocks that seem to endless move backwards on the flat terrain.
Blueberry and Brian are amazing . . wet ledges on steep slope, spaced at wheelbase length apart.
