As they say in the Willis World" If it ain't broke don't fit it. If it is have Jeff Weld it." Plan on joining us again this year on April 21-23. This will be our 7th year. Once again we will be meeting at Rush Springs Ranch Off-road Adventure Park in Pineville, MO.(40 miles south of Joplin, MO.) This location has allowed Jeepers to attend from 5 or 6 of the surrounding states. It also has given those that don't have roll bars or seat belts an opportunity to enjoy off-roading. For those that can make it on Friday afternoon, we will wheel until dinner time then head into town for pizza. On Sat. we will hit the trails. Pack a lunch as the Snack Shack isn't always open. Sat. evening we'll get together around the camp fire & cook Hot Dogs & Hamburgers. Feel free to bring a side dish & something to drink. It's a great time to sit around the fire & visit. On Sunday those that don't have to hurry home are out on the trails again. Most of us have stayed in the camp area the last few years. Primitive camp sites are $10/night, RV w/hookups $35-$45. I have saved 4 sites with electric hookups for our group. These are last years rates I don't know if they have changed. There are also cabins that can be reserved. Reserve them in advance as they get booked fast. There are plenty of trails for everyone. Bring your family, bring a buddy, heck bring your wife's even they seem to have fun. I look forward getting those Jeeps dirty & having some fun.

Confident "maybe"
Something about steering, suspension, brakes, tires, exhaust, and motor mounts. Ouch
But the go pedal works!

I hope that everyone completed their repair & maintenance list over the Winter. It's almost time to get together & have some fun. For the guys going to EJS don't break anything. You guys at home working on those bigger projects get them done. Nothing has changed at Rush Springs Ranch so you know what to expect. If this is your first time & you have any questions let me know. Only 4 more weeks. Let me know how many are in your group so we can plan for food. See you all soon.

We are still planning on being there on Friday. Primitive camping is fine. Putting a locker in the front axle.  Look forward to some light testing.

That looks like a Blast !

A fine group picture of every generation of Flat Fender lovers in the Cave Shot.

I must have missed your upgrade?
How are the Tractor Tread tires working for you?

On this terrain, I wouldn’t call them an upgrade.

I am in the middle of an extensive comparison of these tires to my NDTs.   I have tried very hard to make these comparisons “apples to apples”, or a close to apples to apples as I can get. So far I’ve run them on 4 different terrains, (including the highway. ) In some of the photos, you will notice that they are even mounted backwards. I’m trying to be thorough. I’d rather not answer the question just yet because I don’t want to frame anyone’s opinions before they watch the video, but the other Q8’s who were there and watching are free to give their opinions now or anytime. Hopefully, I’ll get this information together this week.

Good day of jeeping. We had a lot of kids and grandkids attending this year,  good to see the youth participating.
