I can bring a timing light. I’ll be very impressed if someone can time an L134 with a light and the original flywheel marks 😉

We did that a couple months ago on John Black’s standard 1947 2A. It’s certainly best to paint the flyfweel marks before it’s installed. Lay on ground at front bumper hold timing light as far foreward ad you can and look way back with a bright timing light. Much easier if you have a second person to turn the distributor. Certainly not the ideal timing mark location for usd with a light. Ha ha ha !

I've got to work a bit Friday morning (long story) so don't wait for me when noon rolls past. I do have a timing light already packed as well.
I could use one heavy 16" wheel or two regular 16" I've got a mismatched set. Rear D44 rebuild and power steering are on my to-do list if you have stuff kicking around we can pm. |

Fluids are changed/topped off. I cut the rest of my axle ubolts off to hopefully prevent a repeat of last year. I will say that Jeff's battery powered weld did hold up great!

I will probably need the entire axle by time I'm finished. It looks like the outer tube is bent. I have both axle shafts. If I can get a complete axle I'll just keep the extra parts for later repairs.

I can try to get an axle from the local junkyard on my way Friday. What gears do you need in it?

Maybe someday I'll be able to go to one of these. I still lack brakes and a bunch of maintenance.

You only need brakes going down hill. Some people use trees. A story for the campfire at Rush Springs.

I got 30 hamburgers, 24 all beef hotdogs and 12 chicken breasts ready to go so I don’t think any of you will be going hungry! I have plates, utensils and napkins as well. Bring a side and come hungry Only thing I am missing is a Jeep without a knock in the engine so I am just going to run it and hope for the best!
