Starting to restore our old equipment shed, and this old portable sawmill I've been passing over all these years started to look different to me after spending the last couple of years working on my cj2a. At the very least, I have a new source for a carter fuel filter, but this old six cylinder and front end have sort of a Willys look. Anybody recognize what vehicle it came from? Sorry about the pic rotation.

Just because it is a flat head engine?

Hard to say what it is from those pictures, but it doesn't look Willys to me.

Pictures of the transmission area and the drive for the belt would probably tell more than the engine area pictures.

That shifter is awfully long and the radiator doesn't really look 'right' either unless its maybe Willys Knight or Overland.

The wheel tabbed for hubcap *does* look Willys-like though.

Looks like a Carter model BBR-1 carb, but that don’t tell me nothin’.

It is NOT a Jeep Willys! It is a Willys jeep.

A little google search and I’m inclined to say it’s a Chrysler setup. The carter BBR-1 was used on Chrysler- Dodge engines and the manifolds look like some pictures I found.
