WTB - a take off pair of the studs (with the over sized washers) that are used to secure the brackets that hold the top bows on the inside of the windshield.

This is for a '48, so the washers are the later round style.

Maybe someone has a trashed windshield out there that the studs can be salvaged off?

A local address can be arranged for USA mailing if required.

Thanks,

Mike

Jerry, you and WeeWilly are correct, I mean the threaded shaft with washers - used for storing the top bows on the inner windshield panel when the bows are not in use.

Unbelievably I seem to have located an original take off pair here in South Africa. I will try these as a first option, but come back to you if something goes wrong.

Thanks for coming back to me.

My original take off pair of the studs finally arrived today. Another exercise in patience for me LOL

Final question - I need to drill the windshield front panel to install these. Can someone give me a measurement from the bottom of the pipe at the top of the panel down to the centre of the holes, and again from the inside of the pipe on each side of the panel to the centre of each hole. Kinda like the green lines show in the pic below...

Thank you!
