I just sent an email to the Lee historical society to see if they have a list of paper mills that were operating in 1905 and pictures of them too. I'm on a mission to see if I can get some info on where my 1905 IHC Famous hit and miss engine came from. Im really hoping that I can either ask the PO if he can remember which one it came from OR one of the pictures has a glimpse of the Famous. It should be easy to ID since it has a very unusual pulley on it along with some other unusual stuff (that I would notice ). It was indoors and probably near an outside wall based on the exhaust piping I got with it.
Never know till you try! |
