What's the coil looking thing forward of the radiator?  For a plow?

Looks like it's part of the plow setup.

That's a trip spring for a Fisher plow blade.

to many jeeps, parts, and accessories to list here, but apparently enough to keep me in trouble with my wife.

Is that the correct horn and mount?  I could use that on my '48 Wink.

ggordon49 --

What did you charge the homeowner to remove that unsightly piece of drek?

Part it out.

Hi everyone,

We were able to get it out and haul it home... It's ROUGH!!! Some good lots of bad, but it was free so I couldn't leave it... The Good, things I needed: Left front fender, original rear seat, locking hubs, vin tags (fire wall and frame), good original gas tank and windshield parts.... The rims look good and so do the axles. The motor is shot, the spark plugs were left out....Maybe I can salvage the head and other engine parts... The tranny is shot, the tower was off and the gears were left exposed. The transfer case was free and locked/unlocked the driveshaft. The front of the frame is bent so bad the bumper is almost hitting the ground Confused.... The vin number appears to be 97645? The grills marker lights are recessed and look in good shape... Overall its BAD but I have such little money to spend on my Willys passion I have to WORK to get parts... It was a fun adventure and was rewarding to get it out of there.

Very tough to pass up free! Nice work.

I once scored a CJ5 in a similar fashion. It was beyond shot. Frame broke in half when we loaded it. Anyway, on the way home we pulled the Warn Overdrive in a shopping mall parking lot and brought the rest to the scrapper that day. Got $13. Still have the receipt/scale ticket. My wife at the time was very confused about the free Jeep arriving in a cardboard box.....with $13 change.

Hard to tell from the pic, but hopefully that backseat is salvageable enough to pay for the effort Thumbs Up... that tranny, however is gonna need a little MMO, lol.  I had better hopes for it given the half cab.

Definitely some usable stuff... if you have a use for it LOL
